Gettysburg Battlefield Tour of Day 3
Attention Companions: the Pennsylvania Commandery of MOLLUS is sponsoring a tour of the Gettysburg battlefield on Saturday, September 28, 2019. As last year’s tour involved Day 2 of the battle (July 2, 1863), this year’s tour will focus on Day 3. Walking tours will include the Cavalry action at East Cavalry Field, Culp’s Hill and Pickett’s Charge, with a break for lunch in between. Last year’s tour was a great success, and we encourage all companions to participate in this yearly event which takes MOLLUS back to its roots.
We will convene at 10:00 a.m. at the parking lot of the Gettysburg Tour Center, adjacent to the Jenny Wade House in the middle of town, near the intersection of Baltimore and Steinwehr Avenues. There will be no tour bus, as we will caravan in our own vehicles. Please note that East Cavalry Field is approximately 2 to 3 miles east of the main battlefield.
There is no cost to attend. A convenient location for lunch will be chosen by the participants during the morning tour.
